Kay Dulinda Hendley Holland
November 15, 1967 - July 23, 2012
Kaye Dulinda Hendley Holland, "Dulie," 44, died unexpectedly in her Savannah, GA, home Monday, July 23.
Kaye was born and reared in Tampa, FL, and graduated from H.B. Plant High School, class of 1985. She travelled extensively for her career in Title Insurance and lived in Savannah for the last year-and-a-half. Dulie was preceded in Heaven by her mother, Helen Hendley, and grandparents.
She is survived by her father, Carroll Hendley; brother, Ken Hendley; sister and nephew, Coni Hendley Hebert and Armand Hebert, Jr.; grandmother, Dulinda Ernesto, for whom Dulie was given her middle name; a great number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a multitude of friends from her childhood, school, and adult life.
Dulie's hilarious humor will forever be remembered, as well as her honesty, faithfulness, and her constant need to know everything about everything. In recent years, she shared that If ever a person earnestly desired to fly away to Jesus, it was she.
Memorial service: 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 2, at New Beginnings Christian Church, 4100 S. Manhattan Ave., Tampa, FL, 813-837-3451. In lieu of flowers, Dulie's friends and family are encouraged to make a gift to Lake Aurora Christian Camp, her favorite place in the world, in her memory: 237 Golden Bough Rd., Lake Wales, FL 33898, 863-696-1102.
I love you, Auntie Dulie. I know you're happier in heaven with Jesus and Grandma Hendley.
